Why is this dialogue taking place?


The LEAD Center, a U.S. Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy technical assistance center, is a collaborative of disability, workforce and economic empowerment organizations dedicated to advancing sustainable individual and systems level change to improve competitive, integrated employment and economic self-sufficiency for all people across the spectrum of disability.

As such, through this online dialogue, the LEAD Center is seeking to gather ideas and insights on how best to improve upon the effectiveness of Inclusive Career Pathways programs in order to provide career support for people whose options may be otherwise limited.

Insights gathered during this dialogue will be used by the LEAD Center to help shape their work around inclusive career pathways initiatives and full workplace inclusion.

Why participate?


As part of this dialogue, we are hoping to gather multiple perspectives about what’s working for inclusive career pathways, what challenges currently exist, and what training and assistance services are most needed to ensure such programs thrive. Your input is needed to support the efforts of the LEAD Center. We are looking forward to your ideas and hope you will join us in this important effort.


Who should participate?


This online event is open to the general public and to anyone interested in joining the conversation. We strongly encourage individuals and organizations interested in inclusive employment of people with disabilities – including state agency administrators, employers, human resources professionals, labor policy experts, advocates, and workers themselves – to participate.
